Indoor Playground & Track
The Family Life Center, an extension of First Christian Church, offers our community a complimentary indoor playground and walking track. It is a welcoming, secure, and vibrant space for everyone to enjoy.
You can enter the playground and track through the south breezeway doors from the Staley Road parking lot.

Monday–Thursday: 9:00A–3:00P
Sunday: 9:00A-11:30A (during morning worship services)

The offices and Playground & Track will be closed April 10 and 11
The Playground & Track will be closed May 21-23
The FIRST Playground and Track are CLOSED on the following days or their respective observed days:
• Every Friday & Saturday
• All Unit #4 school closures due to inclement weather
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Eve
• Week after Christmas
Weather Closings
In the case of inclement weather, First Christian Church may close the Playground/Track.
When Champaign Unit #4 Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the FIRST Playground and Track will also be closed.
Bringing a group?
We welcome groups to enjoy the playground! If you are coming with a group from a school, home daycare, early learning center, daycare, camp, or other business, we kindly ask that you notify FIRST when you will be attending so we can put you on the calendar and avoid multiple groups at the same time. Please provide FIRST with a copy of your liability insurance, naming First Christian Church Champaign as additionally insured, prior to bringing children in your care to the playground.
