Hey Students... Light it up with your friends at Glow Night! We are going to have an awesome time playing glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, glow 9 square and so much more. Wear your best neon. IF:Table is a simple tool to help us cut through the small talk and start building the relationships that God wants us to have. One easy way to approach it: 2 hours. 4 questions. 6 women.

Our Women's Ministry Team is creating a space for you to invite your girlfriends to join you for a night out where we will play good ol' fashion GLOW BINGO followed by a time to connect on a deeper level.

WHERE: Join us in the Fieldhouse in the Family Life Center at church.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 17 from 6:30-8:30P. Doors open at 6:15P

Ticket price is $5 per person which includes light snacks, beverages and supplies to play Glow Bingo.

This special time will include a message for a FIRST pastor, a challenge to pray consistently for your child and your commitment to raising your child in a Christ-centered home, as well as a slide show with pictures of our previous babies and kids. Parents, family, friends, and the church family will share in a time of commitment followed by the presentation of dedication certificates. Participants will also receive a special gift from the FIRST Kids Ministry.

Salt & Light in Urbana would not make it without fantastic community volunteers who donate their time and energy. Volunteering with participants and building relationships with them is a priceless investment. In general, these are the things they need help with on a regular basis:

• emptying collection bins

• sorting & hanging clothes

• donation intake

• stocking grocery shelves

• testing electronics

• managing recyclables

• organizing household items

K–8th graders! Invite your friends and join us at the FIRST Family Life Center for an evening of fun, games, and more—including, but not limited to, dodgeball, pizza, popcorn, and a movie! We promise you will have a blast and probably be so tired your parents may even have a whole Saturday evening to themselves!

Join us for Serve Saturday, dedicated to showcasing our core value of outward compassion. Together, we'll prepare special items for our honored Night to Shine guests.

We will meet in the front office and fellowship hall to help assemble gift bags and crowns for Night to Shine.

Every year we gather to celebrate families who are caring for children in foster care. We build relationships with them by providing baked goods, playing games, and serving them in a variety of other ways. We look forward to serving at the Foster Care Christmas Party every year and it’s an event where your WHOLE FAMILY can help out.
