And guess what? Easter Sunday isn't just any ordinary Sunday. It's a special day we've designated as Baptism Sunday. Now is the perfect time to commit if you've considered publicly declaring your faith through baptism. Our pastors can chat with you about this faith decision, answer any questions, and help guide you.

Do you enjoy community and putting together puzzles? Bring a snack to share and enjoy fellowship with other women from First. We will provide the 300-piece puzzles for this low-key, no-stress night out! No registration required!

You're invited to celebrate the reason for the season with all your ladies at our Merry-Making, Mocktail-Toasting, Jingle-Mingling, Spirit-Lifting, Potluck Christmas Brunch! This potluck style event is free and anyone is welcome to attend. We'd love to for you to share your favorite holiday snack/treat, beverage, side dish or main dish.  Please register by November 26 and share if you would like to bring something so we can plan accordingly.

Location Change due to weather to Old Orchard Lanes in Savoy!

Calling all the Single Ladies! If you're a lady who is single, widowed, engaged, or have a heart for single ladies, you're invited to a fun fall night out at Old Orchard Lanes in Savoy on Friday, October 27 from 6-9P. Gather your girlfriends and come dressed in your favorite fall attire as we spend an evening together enjoying a hotdog and s'mores cookout, hay rides, and more! You'll be able to feed reindeer and compete with a team to win a moonlight corn maze! Not your vibe? No worries! You can also chill by a cozy fire as you get to know other ladies. The cost is $24 per person and includes all the above. Registration is open now through Sunday, October 22. Changes in routines, earlier bedtimes, homework, new teachers, new students, and new schools or settings can all bring excitement and anxiety for parents, students, teachers, and staff facing the upcoming school year.  The Women's Ministry is offering time to all the women of our church to pause and pray for all those who are going to school this fall.

Please join us for a Back to School Potluck Prayer Breakfast! This event is for ANY woman who wants to pray for the students, administrators, teachers, and staff in their lives! 

You will be invited to participate in a time of collective prayer together, a time to pray in small groups, and a time to pray on your own. We know that not everyone feels comfortable praying aloud in front of others, so while you are welcome to do so, no one is required. 

The cost is free, but registration is required so we can plan accordingly for breakfast!

Do you enjoy putting together puzzles? How about putting them together against the clock? Bring a team of 4 players or join a team the night of for this super fun pizza and puzzles night that the Women's Ministry is hosting. Prizes will be given away for the first team to put together a 300 piece puzzles that will be provided (Elementary aged kids are welcome with their parent). All women are welcome so feel free to bring friends! Pizza and salad will be served and cost is only $5 per person. November 20th’s Sunday morning services will be dedicated to those who regularly devote their time and talents to make Sundays, events, and all things church possible—FIRST’s Serve Team Volunteers! You’re invited to be celebrated with special treats and a service highlighting all you do to help each other follow Jesus.

For this special Sunday, to give as many volunteers as possible the opportunity to attend, there will be no Junior High Ministry and childcare for kindergarten and under only. All others are encouraged to join us for this fun and exciting service!
